There have been grumbles and discussions about the quality of buildings and spaces along the River Clyde for years. Back in the last boom there were many commentators who felt the riverside was being ruined with too many high modern buildings.
e-architect have been doing guided architectural city walking tours since 2000, in cities such as Glasgow, Edinburgh, Barcelona and Rome. During the last few years we have expanded to include walking tours in cities such as Singapore, New York and New Delhi – with 74 cities at the time of writing.

New photos added: the lower part of a chapel built by James III, housing the shrine of St Triduana, a Pictish saint. The Hexagonal vaulted chamber at St Triduana’s is reputedly unique. Located in the Restarig district of Edinburgh, St. Triduana’s Well comprises a low hexagonal building lying next to St Margaret’s Parish Church.
Collective Architecture has won the £4m job to transform the Briggait, a Category A-listed former fish market, into an arts centre. This Glasgow building was redeveloped in 2008-09 by Dundee architects Nicoll Russell Studios for The Wasps Trust.
