Kingsway Court in Scotstoun
Cooper Cromar has submitted a planning application, on behalf of Glasgow Housing Association, for a new 116 unit residential development at Kingsway Court in Scotstoun, in the West End of Glasgow.
Located within a larger existing residential area comprising six multi-storey tower blocks and a Medical Centre, the new development will replace two of the tower blocks earmarked for demolition.
The new site will provide a mixture of apartments and terraced housing, with associated parking, a new large central amenity garden and enhanced pedestrian connectivity from the site to Kingsway and Dumbarton Road.
The remaining tower blocks, originally built in 1962 by Wimpey as part of the Scotstoun House project, have been refurbished over the past two years as part of GHA’s modernisation programme.
