Savoy Centre
Glasgow project:
The Savoy Centre is an existing major element of Glasgow’s city centre. Located at Sauchiehall Street & Renfrew Street.
The development proposals by Povall Worthington architects involve new vertical extensions and a full refurbishment of the existing buildings. The vertical blocks contain 12,000sqm office & 220 bedroom hotel accommodation, joined by a common plinth of 5000sqm retail space over two levels & 600sqm boutique restaurant at street level.
The facades feature layers of clean modern lines and elements which will enhance the street scene and define a specific skyline profile.
