A category ‘B’ listed building located at the corner of Ingram Street and Montrose Street in the Merchant City Central Conservation Area, the Garment Factory is one of Glasgow’s most notable buildings. It provides 47,382 sq ft of high quality retail and design-focused office space over seven floors.

New publication by Florian Urban, Professor and Head of Architectural History and Urban Studies at the Mackintosh School of Architecture at the GSA. Book examines the dense, medium-rise, multi-storey residences that have been the backbone of European inner-city regeneration since 1970.
A new artwork by the leading artist Louise Hopkins has been unveiled on the central wall in front of the Mackintosh Building. A 2.5m high and 12.2m long digital print on metal, Dance Number, was specially commissioned by the GSA and is the artist’s largest work to date.
