NEW PRACTICE TO BRING NEW LIFE TO 150 YEAR OLD PARK CIRCUS TOWNHOUSE
Townhouse Renewal in Glasgow
Emerging practice Ellson Buchanan Architects have been commissioned to return a 150 year old Category A-Listed Townhouse back to its intended use as a family home.
Park Circus Townhouse
The property will be transformed through a mix of careful, sensitive restoration and crisp, contemporary insertions. The result will be exceptional quality living accommodation with appropriate modern facilities, with the A-Listed property’s architectural integrity intact.
Park Circus was designed by architect Charles Wilson, between 1855-56. No 10 was constructed around 1861. This transformation will create a fitting tribute to mark the building’s 150th birthday. Emma Ellson notes, “This is a magnificent property and a fantastic commission for our practice. We look forward to working with our clients to transform this 19th century townhouse into a home that can grow with their family, fit for 21st Century living.”
