Fore Street Housing : a unique development, which adopts a novel approach towards the design of urban housing in Scotland. The site sits within an existing Victorian tenement perimeter block, which was previously occupied by two existing buildings. A ground floor bakery along the Southern Edge of the block had fallen into a state of disrepair, whilst a mews property behind served as an operating car repair business.

Car Park at the New Southern General Hospital, Glasgow

Car Park at the Southern General
The 700 space car park designed by Hypostyle is the first of 4 multi storey units proposed to serve the New South Glasgow Hospitals campus, which is currently under construction. The car park is the first new building to be erected along the new spine road, and is a significant element within the new hospital development. 25 Aug 2011

Multi-Storey Car Park, Glasgow + Advanced Forming Research Centre at Strathclyde University – both designed by Hypostyle Architects, Glasgow, are the only built projects in Scotland to be nominated in the annual WAF Awards.
