The layout of the galleries configured symmetrically around the East and West Courts and the Central Hall could not be simpler. However, during the last 100 years there have been a myriad of changes that have, to a greater or lesser extent, put demands on a building that it was not originally designed to accommodate.

The development boasts: secure parking, home office, ECO homes rating, park views with balconies and top floor apartments with gallery spaces. The materials chosen seek to respond to the surrounding context in a contemporary way.

The proposed Finnieston residential development aims to establish a high standard of architectural design for this riverfront site within the City. The proposals seek to make a dynamic, contemporary yet lasting contribution to the entire future development of the River Clyde frontage in this key city location.
Lighthouse

The Lighthouse, although in centre of the city, is in a difficult site, tucked away off the main drag. This means signage and marketing have to be well-organised, and the logo designed by Mariscal – who did the Barcelona Olympics logo (the dog holding a torch) – makes a strong impact.
