Kelvinbridge Parish Church building, Belmont Street, and Belmont Bridge on the left:
Kelvin Stevenson Memorial Church is located at 99 Garriochmill Road. It is a Church of Scotland parish church, serving part of the North Kelvinside area.
The building design is by architect J. J. Stevenson and built in 1898–1902, using Red sandstone. It has a crown tower, similar to the Chapel of King’s College, Aberdeen and St. Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh.
It was built by the Free Church of Scotland as the Nathanial Stevenson Memorial Free Church, becoming part of the United Free Church of Scotland in 1900, which in turn united with the Church of Scotland in 1929.
Hump Back Bridge over the River Kelvin, at the Botanic gardens:
The ornate Victorian structure is B-listed. It is situated 100m upstream from Queen Margaret Drive and links the Kelvin Walkway to the Botanics. It is made of iron beams supporting a concrete deck and has ornate, cast iron balustrades.
