The residential element consists of three 8-person “houses” each providing bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, lounge, pantry and nursing staff facilities. These are linked with visitor and communal nursing/medical facilities.
A second building provides education facilities such as classrooms and workshops together with a gym.
The third building accommodates therapies facilities such as a therapies kitchen or interview rooms on the ground floor and “staff only” administration facilities on the upper floor.
The buildings are separate in order to provide “a journey” between living or home spaces and work or therapies spaces.
The project is set in a mature garden area and is enhanced by the external provisions of external space including private external space.
